Smart Citizen
Smart Citizen è una piattaforma che genera processi partecipativi da parte degli abitanti delle città. Connettendo dati, persone e conoscenze, l’obiettivo della piattaforma è fungere da nodo per la costruzione di indicatori “open” e di strumenti distribuiti, per far sì che la costruzione della città avvenga per mano dei suoi stessi abitanti.
Il progetto si basa su geolocalizzazione, Internet e hardware e software gratuiti per la raccolta e la condivisione dei dati e, in una seconda fase, la produzione di oggetti; connette le persone con il loro ambiente e la loro città per ottimizzare le relazioni tra risorse, tecnologia, collettività, servizi ed eventi nell’ambiente urbano.
Smart Citizen - progetto di tipo crowdsensing iniziato nel 2012 per sviluppare dal basso, tra i cittadini, strumenti scientifici nel quadro di una filosofia open source. La sua sede è a Barcellona dove opera in collaborazione con IAAC, Fab Lab Bcn, Hangar e MID. Ha ricevuto due finanziamenti con crowdfunding e adesso è parte di un consorzio europeo nel quadro del programma H2020.
Smart Citizen is a platform to generate participatory processes of the people in the cities. Connecting data, people and knowledge, the objective of the platform is to serve as a node for building productive open indicators and distributed tools, and thereafter the collective construction of the city for its own inhabitants.
The Smart Citizen project is based on geolocation, Internet and free hardware and software for data collection and sharing, and (in a second phase) the production of objects; it connects people with their environment and their city to create more effective and optimized relationships between resources, technology, communities, services and events in the urban environment.
Smart Citizen - a crowd sensing project that started in 2012 to develop bottom-up citizen science tools under an open source philosophy. It is headquartered in Barcelona where works in collaboration with IAAC, Fab Lab Bcn, Hangar and MID. It has been successfully crowdfunded twice and now is also part of an European consortium under the H2020 program.
